MARISSA GASPAROLI
Founder & CEO
Hola! My name is Marissa Gasparoli from San Juan, Puerto Rico although born in Missouri. I did my Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with a psychology minor in Bentley University in Massachusetts, where I was part of the Volleyball Team, Division 2, followed by a Master in Public Relations from Universidad Sagrado Corazón in San Juan where I became the recipient of the Edward Bernay’s Award.
I have been passionate about events since High School, always with numerous to-do lists guiding me to get things done. After College I was lucky to have worked in Telefutura and Univision in Miami, first as an intern and then in the Special Events Department getting experience in the entertainment and events industry.
A few months after I moved back home to Puerto Rico, I had the honor to be part of the Puerto Rico Convention Center in the Event’s Department. I loved being part of the PRCC team. As a Senior Event Manager, I was able to manage 360 operations of big and small venues with events ranging from social activities, conventions, expos to corporate events.
After 5 years in the PRCC, I embarked on a new journey by becoming an entrepreneur. I took the risk of starting my own business alongside my now husband. I can proudly say I am the CEO & Founder of 7.29 Events, established in mid 2011.
I am super organized and detailed oriented (and also an energizer bunny, reason why my friends call me ‘la máquina’).
On a personal note, I love sports! My hobby since 2018 has been nonstop running focused on training for full 26.2 marathons.
ANGEL 'REGGIE' ORTIZ
Co-Founder & Partner
Hola! My name is Reggie Ortiz from San Juan, Puerto Rico (although born in NYC). I studied Administrative Business with a concentration in Marketing in Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico, where I was also part of the softball team. I am a sports fan specially in baseball, basketball and boxing. I played baseball all my life and softball during the College years.
Throughout the years I have been an entrepreneur with several businesses focused mainly in the Food and Beverage industry. In 2003 I had my first experience with events was Daddy Yankee’s first concert. Since then, I decided to stay in the event’s industry producing multiple open to the public events including Sangria Fest, a Guinness World Records event.
Shortly after, Marissa and I identified there was a big opportunity in the coordination of corporate events. We decided to launch 7.29 Events in mid 2011. Twelve years later, we are still going strong with 600+ events coordinated with an amazing team. We coordinate corporate events as well as produce our own events.
PAOLA TORO
Senior Event & Venue Coordinator
Hey! My name is Paola and I am from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. I am the Senior Events and Venue Coordinator and I’ve been a part of 7.29 Events since 2015. Currently I’m a graduate student in the field of Organizational Psychology at the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico. My qualities include being highly organized, incredibly patient, and constantly curious. I believe that excellent customer service is the key for a successful event in addition to quality and attention to detail for everything I do.

Account Executive & Special Event Coordinator
My name is Yahaira. I live in Cidra, Puerto Rico. I have a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master's degree in Quality Management. I have been part of the 7.29 Events team since 2011. I really enjoy coordinating events, managing logistics, creating plans and everything that comes with offering my clients a great experience and good service. I love photography, discovering the beauties that nature offers me, plus living each day in a positive and grateful way.
